MyCNC starts where ordinary remote desktop apps stop. Its Agent Command Center shows live cards for supervised command-line agents, resumable Claude Code sessions, agent GUI apps and local web services, with a clear signal when something needs your attention.
Open any agent into its own terminal, compose a prompt without fighting a desktop-sized interface, dictate text and use quick keys such as Escape, Control-C, arrows and yes or no. Resume a Claude Code session, launch another supported command-line agent, or open an Ollama or LM Studio interface that only exists on the Mac.
The same client can control the rest of the Mac. Stream a display, window or single application; fit supported windows to the client screen; switch between direct-touch and trackpad-style input; use Apple Pencil; and move audio, clipboard content or files between the paired devices.
MyCNC is deliberately two-sided. MyCNC Host runs on an always-on Mac, while the MyCNC client runs on the device in your hand. On the same LAN they find each other through Bonjour. Away from home, they connect over a Tailscale or ZeroTier network you manage. There is no Codonic backend, cloud service or internet relay in the path.

What do I need to use MyCNC?
You need MyCNC Host on an always-on Mac running macOS 14 or later and the MyCNC client on a supported Apple device. Both devices must be on the same LAN or on a Tailscale or ZeroTier network you manage.
Can MyCNC control Claude Code from an iPad or iPhone?
Yes. MyCNC can discover stored Claude Code sessions on the Mac, resume a selected session and give it a dedicated terminal, prompt composer, dictation and quick keys on the client.
How is MyCNC different from Astropad?
Both categories include responsive Mac screen streaming and input from an iPad or iPhone. MyCNC is built first as an AI-agent command center: it adds agent status cards, needs-attention detection, per-agent terminals, resumable Claude Code sessions and access to user-selected localhost services.
Does MyCNC send my screen or agent output to Codonic?
No. The client connects directly to MyCNC Host over your LAN or user-managed overlay network. Codonic operates no backend, cloud storage or internet relay for the product and does not receive the stream, commands, files or agent output.
How are devices authenticated?
The host shows a one-time PIN. After pairing, it issues a random per-device token that can be revoked from the host. On Tailscale or ZeroTier, the overlay also provides encrypted transport; MyCNC does not describe a bare LAN as encrypted.
Does MyCNC require a subscription?
No. The MyCNC client and MyCNC Host are free, and MyCNC does not require a subscription.
When will MyCNC be available?
The signed MyCNC Host is available as a direct download. The iPad and iPhone client is in pre-release testing, a public TestFlight link will be posted shortly, and the App Store release is coming later.
