Generative
An improvising player, and a machine that randomly shifts from a diatonic scale to complete dodecaphony.
SuiteMusic you did not choose,
to practise against.
Two small instruments built around one idea: something else decides, and you react. Free, for macOS and Windows, running on their own or inside your DAW.
Built around random elements. Alea is Latin for dice, as in aleatoric music.
Practice
Generate a short random chord progression, loop it, and improvise over it with your instrument.
Both instruments
Sound with no setup
A built-in synth with ten sounds, including a sampled upright piano, so they make music the moment they open. Or send MIDI to your own instruments.
Every format
VST3, AU and CLAP plugins plus a standalone app, for macOS and Windows. They load in the DAW you already use, or run on their own.
They collect nothing
No accounts, no analytics, no tracking. The only network request either app can make is the update check, and only when you ask for it.
