In short
- MyCNC does not collect personal data and contains no analytics or third-party crash-reporting SDK.
- Screen video, input, agent output, clipboard content and files travel only between devices you pair.
- Codonic operates no MyCNC backend, cloud storage or internet connection service.
Who is responsible
MyCNC is offered by BlueGuru LLC and made under the Codonic studio brand. If you have a question about anything on this page, write to dev@codonic.dev. For help with the app itself, support@codonic.dev is the faster address.
This policy covers these store listings:
- MyCNC for iPadOS and iOS — App Store and TestFlight
- MyCNC Host for macOS — Direct download
What MyCNC collects
MyCNC does not collect personal data, usage data, diagnostics, identifiers or analytics. Codonic receives no copy of your screen, agent output, commands, clipboard content or transferred files.
The two-device connection
MyCNC is made of a client and a Mac host. The client connects directly to the host address you choose or to a host it discovers through Bonjour on the same local network.
For access away from the local network, you may use a network you operate through Tailscale or ZeroTier. Those are independent services with their own terms and privacy practices. MyCNC does not integrate with their accounts or APIs; it uses the network interface they provide.
Codonic does not operate a signaling server, cloud backend, storage service or internet relay for MyCNC.
Pairing and stored credentials
A new client proves that it can see the one-time PIN displayed by MyCNC Host. The host then creates a random per-device token. The client stores that token in Apple Keychain and the host keeps its local list of paired devices.
You can revoke a paired device from the host. Removing the client removes its local settings and credentials subject to the device backup behavior controlled by Apple.
What moves between your devices
Depending on the features you use, the paired connection can carry screen video, system audio, pointer and keyboard input, dictated text, agent and terminal output, host status, clipboard content, file transfers and user-selected localhost web interfaces.
This content is processed to provide the requested remote session. It is not sent to Codonic or retained by Codonic.
Permissions on the client iPadOS, iOS, macOS and visionOS client
Local Network access lets the client discover and connect to MyCNC Host. Camera access is used only when you choose to scan the host pairing code. Microphone and Speech Recognition access are used only when you choose dictation.
Files and clipboard content are accessed only when you initiate the corresponding transfer or synchronization feature.
Permissions on the Mac host MyCNC Host for macOS
Screen Recording lets the host capture the display, window or application you select. Accessibility lets it apply pointer, keyboard and other control input received from a paired client.
The host can inspect running processes, stored Claude Code session metadata and listening local services so it can build the Agent Command Center on your paired device. That information stays on the Mac and the paired connection; it is not reported to Codonic.
Local web services and third parties
When you open a user-selected localhost interface, MyCNC Host passes that connection from the paired client to the service running on your Mac. The service itself may have separate data practices determined by its developer or by how you configured it.
Links in the setup flow can open the Tailscale or ZeroTier website or App Store page at your request. MyCNC does not receive information from those visits.
Analytics and crash reporting
MyCNC contains no analytics, tracking or third-party crash-reporting SDK. Operational logs remain on the device where they are created.
